At Paws-itively Purr-fect Pet Sitting, we’re a group of dedicated animal lovers who don’t just care for pets—we celebrate them. Whether your furry friend is here for full-service pet grooming, a fun day at pet daycare, or a cozy overnight pet boarding stay, every wag, purr, and happy tail means the world to us.
Our story (and why we do what we do)
Paws-itively Purr-fect began with a simple goal: helping local Buckeye families find dependable care for their beloved pets.
Back in 1985, I started pet sitting and boarding pets in the Buckeye area. At the time, our community was small and quality pet care options were limited—so stepping in to help just made sense. What started as a part-time service grew steadily over the years while I continued working in the veterinary field.
By 2004, I took the leap and began running the business full time. And in 2006, I met Jon—truly a perfect match in every way. We both had shown dogs, loved riding horses, and shared a deep passion for animals. Together, we’ve continued to grow and refine what we offer, including adding full-time grooming and expanding our boarding services.

Jon and I are true animal lovers at heart. We were both raised surrounded by animals—Jon in Illinois and me in Arizona—and that has shaped how we connect with pets (and the people who love them).
Before focusing fully on Paws-itively Purr-fect, I spent over 16 years as a veterinary technician, a career I truly loved. That experience still influences how I think about pet care every day: with respect for each pet’s individuality, a calm approach, and an appreciation for how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else.
When you come to us for grooming, daycare, or boarding, you’re not just dropping off a pet—you’re handing over a piece of your everyday life. We don’t take that lightly.
