Our story: animal lovers to the core
The heart behind Paws-itively Purr-fect comes from our founders, lifelong animal lovers Debbie and Jon. Both grew up surrounded by animals and have always shared a passion for caring for them.
Debbie spent over 16 years as a veterinary technician before turning her love for animal care into something more personal. In 1985, she began pet sitting and boarding pets in Buckeye to help local families who needed reliable, loving care. What started as a part-time service grew steadily, and by 2004, Debbie took the leap to run the business full time.
Two years later, she met Jon, who shared her love for animals. Together, they expanded Paws-itively Purr-fect—adding professional grooming and enhancing our boarding and daycare services. Today, we’re proud to continue that original promise: a place where pets are treated like family, and where you can feel good about the care your pet receives.
